Цитата допису Gloom:I must have missed it in the tutorial. Something like persona 3-5's Reaper mini boss the subtle sounds of it's chains rattling warn players of imminent danger. Sure the narrator kinda does his thing by saying some cool sounding remarks, but if the game or even the narrator just gives the player an indication or notification that a stronger monster may appear in pitch black - it would probably be more immersive instead of frustrating. I'm not mad at the "Shambler" feature itself, i'm kinda pissed at the fact that the game doesn't bother to tell the player that something like that may appear if your torch is at zero, but it goes out of it's way to tell you the specific bonuses/penalties of each of the light levels on the torch HUD. It turned out that i was up against a an eldritch mini boss that i couldn't retreat from (i'm confused since i can escape even bosses up to this point, did i do something wrong?), and it pretty much wiped out my team. The thing is, my torch was at zero and my team was down by one, but i figured my Dismas and hellion could do well on normal battles, as they usually do on similar situations. I managed to scout the next room with the altar and only 1 enemy seemed to be in the way before i'm able to enter it. I was doing a regular altar cleansing run on veteran, and was almost at the last room and thought to myself i could potentially do 1 - 2 more battles with my team, and if things were to end up badly, i would have just retreated and exited the dungeon.
